PAG Yinka Adeosun is a versatile and accomplished ICT professional, technology strategist, applied mathematician, digital entrepreneur and Rotarian, whose career reflects an uncommon blend of technological expertise, mathematical reasoning, strategic thinking, leadership and linguistic precision.
He holds a Combined Honours Degree in Computer Science with Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
His intellectual and leadership qualities became evident quite early. During his secondary school years, he distinguished himself in both academics and leadership, serving as Senior Prefect (Head Boy), President of the Students’ Union and President of the Science Club.
He was also the Best Student in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics (now Further Mathematics), demonstrating from an early age the exceptional mathematical and analytical ability that would later become a defining feature of his academic and professional journey.
His exceptional analytical ability would subsequently receive national recognition. In the 2000 NIIT Scholarship Examination, PAG Yinka scored an impressive 93.3%, emerging as the 5th Best Examinee nationally out of more than 5,000 university graduates across Nigeria. This outstanding achievement was published in The Guardian newspaper of November 9, 2000, on pages 54–55.
He subsequently undertook the NIIT Oracle 8i Database Administration Track between 2000 and 2001, further strengthening his foundation in enterprise information technology and database systems.
During his National Youth Service Corps programme, he again demonstrated his remarkable numerical and analytical ability by scoring 89% in the Standard Trust Bank Aptitude Test, emerging as the Best Examinee among participating corps members across Nigeria’s North-East geopolitical zone, comprising Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe States.
Earlier in his professional development, while at CHAMS Nigeria Limited, he was recognised as Staff Member of the Year in 1997, an early indication of the discipline, competence and commitment to excellence that would become defining features of his professional career.
Today, PAG Yinka serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Contemporary ICT World (www.ict.ng) and sits on the boards of several notable ICT companies in Nigeria.
From 2020 to 2025, he also served as Executive Director, IT Services & Solutions at Westgate Technologies Limited, where he oversaw enterprise IT service delivery and solution architecture and led the deployment of scalable information technology systems across key industries.
His core competencies span ICT Consulting and Enterprise Solutions Deployment, Digital Asset Development and Monetisation, E-Commerce Strategy and Implementation, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships, Data Analytics and Structured Problem-Solving, Leadership and Organisational Management, Advanced English Communication and Grammar Precision, and Mathematical and Analytical Reasoning.
A technology trailblazer, PAG Yinka developed the pioneer website for the defunct Rotary International District 9110, where he also served as the Pioneer Chairman of the Website Committee for three consecutive years.
He subsequently designed and deployed the pioneer websites for Rotary International Districts 9111 and 9112, further demonstrating his longstanding commitment to deploying technology as an instrument for institutional development, communication, visibility and impact.
Beyond conventional ICT services, he is actively involved in the acquisition, development, monetisation and sale of AI-related and other strategic digital assets, leveraging emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and build innovative digital platforms.
PAG Yinka is also the brains behind AI Powered Africa — www.AIpowered.africa, an ambitious technology-driven initiative conceived to advance the meaningful adoption and application of Artificial Intelligence across Africa.
The initiative seeks to stimulate collaboration among technology stakeholders, innovators, entrepreneurs, institutions, investors, governments, development partners and other strategic players interested in harnessing the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence for Africa’s development.
Through AI Powered Africa, he advocates an Africa that moves beyond being merely a consumer of emerging technologies to becoming an active participant in their development, deployment, localisation and application.
His professional accomplishments are matched by a deep and enduring commitment to Rotary.
As the 32nd President of the prestigious Rotary Club of Ikeja South during the 2018–2019 Rotary year, he led the club to a record net membership growth of +32 members, broke long-standing barriers in per capita giving to The Rotary Foundation and positioned the club as the second-highest contributor on a per-capita basis in the defunct District 9110.
Under his leadership, the club earned the Rotary Citation, now known as the Club Excellence Award, with Platinum Distinction, while achieving numerous firsts that established new standards of excellence, service and impact in the club’s history.
During the same Rotary year, the club recorded approximately US$30,000 in total contributions to The Rotary Foundation, a remarkable achievement that further underscored its culture of generosity and commitment to Rotary’s humanitarian mission.
PAG Yinka is a multiple award-winning Rotarian, widely recognised for his exemplary leadership, innovation and dedication to service.
In April 2018, he graduated from the Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI), further strengthening his leadership capacity and commitment to Rotary ideals.
He is a Pioneer Member of the Rotary Fellowship of Public Speakers, reflecting his passion for effective communication, public speaking and leadership development.
He has served as the Pioneer Chairman of the Awards and Recognition Committee of Rotary International District 9111 and, in the last Rotary year, as Chairman of the District 9111 Membership Attraction Committee.
He is a Paul Harris Fellow (+2) with two Sapphires, and a Benefactor of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
He currently serves as Chairman of the DisCon 2027 Committee for Rotary International District 9111.
Through the strategic application of his ICT expertise, digital marketing proficiency and innovative membership and conference engagement models, he recently facilitated an unprecedented milestone of over 1,000 paid registrations for DisCon 2027 within just 24 days—an extraordinary demonstration of the power of technology, strategy, teamwork, communication and purposeful engagement.
